Detailed Info: The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of solutions in line with CTI/CATE standards, whilst maintaining compliance with Citigroup's global ISO standards. If standards are not followed by the Business Analyst team then this can result in service loss across the organization and/or regulatory, customer, reputation and/or financial impact to the firm.


The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for ensuring functional stability within the various ServiceNow modules, along with the quality and functionality of all new solutions. Working with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document requirements, in order to create solutions and designs to enable the implementation of new Service Management solutions.


Evaluating information, gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into detailed solutions, whilst distinguishing user requests from the underlying real business needs are key aspects of this role. Additionally, assisting in the delivery of new application releases onto the Service Now platform.


Development/Computing Environment: Skills:


Essential - Experience of running data loads to import data to ServiceNow, understands how transform maps and scripts work.

Essential - Able to analyze large volumes of spreadsheet data, utilizing tools to aid like vlookup.

Essential - Experience in troubleshooting process and data issues, identifying root cause and remediation actions.

Ability to run discovery workshops with business and technology representatives covering current tools, processes, contracts, integrations, data & third party suppliers

Able to guide clients through the foundation data gathering process prior to go live and act as the coordination point for gathering data

Document existing processes and tools to assess gaps against the global solution prior to the ServiceNow roll out

Provides regular, clear updates to all stakeholders

Work with process owners and SME's to define requirements and design solutions, mapping them to the ServiceNow tool

Actively manage application specific enhancements / defects as assigned to the BA (i.e. ITSM processes)

Experience of providing over-sight with offshore test teams (review Test Scenarios & Test Script documentation, assist Test Manager with stakeholder support during UAT)

Hands-on testing experience to progress changes through testing environments through to implementation to Production



Qualifications:


Service Management IT industry knowledge, ITIL aware (Foundation minimum)

Educated to a minimum of higher national diploma level (Degree 2:2 preferred or equivalent)

Good data analytical skills to spot data discrepencies to aid data quality initiatives.

Good organisational skills to enable multiple tasks to be addressed concurrently

Good oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication between peers, seniors and non-technical contacts

Ability to drive technical conversations to detemine roadmaps, tasks and initiatives

Ability to work through problems in a methodical manner whilst under pressure and have a proven track record for delivering solutions
