Detailed Info: Capital Markets Risk IT develops technology solutions to support market risk, P & L, and trade surveillance for Capital Markets front office.

The group currently requires a hands-on Java developer. This person will join the existing development team to implement solutions to critical business initiatives. He or she should have demonstrable hands-on technical expertise on the Java, Database, UNIX, and desirable Perl/Shell scripting.

Development/Computing Environment: Required Skills

1.The candidate should have at least Bachelor degree in Technology and a minimum of 6 years of working experience in implementing and supporting data intensive enterprise financial applications.

2.The candidate should have strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and familiar with financial data such as securities, trades, positions and transactions.

3.The candidate must be a skilled Java developer, and has strong knowledge and hands-on experience with core Java such as data structure, algorithm and design pattern.

4.The candidate must has strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java EE, for example, web services, and client and server side web technologies such as JSP, Servlet and JavaScript. He or she should have hands-on experience on Java framework Spring and Struts and on JS Framework such as AngularJS and JQuery.

5.The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in DB2 and sound SQL skills

6.The candidate should be familiar with UNIX.

7.The candidate should be familiar with IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, build tools such as IVY+Ant and source version control tool Git.

8.The candidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented and delivery-focused, and adaptive. He or she should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

1.Knowledge with market risk and trade surveillance

2.Familiar with Sybase3.Perl/Shell scripting experience in UNIX/Linux Environment4.Familiar with Perforce.
