Detailed Info:

Strong technical developer with 5-10 years of development experience. Java or Python exp and financial experience required. Counterparty risk, collateral management, funding risk, or OTC derivatives experience desirable

If you have worked as a software developer for companies such as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and have MS in Financial Engineering or CFA or FRM certifications, you may be a good fit.

Compensation is up to $175k+bonus depending upon experience.

Development/Computing Environment:

Required Skills

The ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users.

A flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities.

Seasoned in Java and/or Python software development experience of 5+ years.

Experience architecting/designing end-to-end application flows.

Strong problem solving skills.

Work in Global Markets and/or Risk Management.

Strong understanding of regulatory rules and applications.

Exposure to Agile methodologies.

The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys programming, can work as part of a global team and who has successfully delivered significant enterprise-scale projects to end-users previously.

Desirable skills

Strong Python experience in a development facility like SecDB or Athena.

Exposure to Front and Middle Office functions and controls.

FRN, CIRO, CFXO, equities-linked notes, credit-linked notes, or commodities experience a plus.

Summit experience a plus.

Business Rationale

In support of business objectives and regulatory requirements, a substantial program of work is underway within Counterparty Portfolio Management (CPM) to expand and improve on the management/allocation of derivatives funding and the costs associated with them.

This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take.
