Detailed Info: The innovation program is a multi-theme program of work within the firm's technology that will make heavy use of innovation labs - workspaces geographically dispersed around areas with a high concentration of technology personnel. An integration engineer is needed to develop novel solutions for managing the lab environments that will eventually span many different network configurations and cloud-based providers. The integration engineer will be responsible for making environments scale to large numbers of consumers and rapid provisioning. The integration engineer will also be responsible for helping to advance projects through the lifecycle of investigation to integration, understanding ways to best leverage and integrate rapidly with existing systems. The integration engineer should be able to work across a diverse set of technologies at depth. Experience in virtualization, networking, system administration for both Linux and Windows, and Cloud-based technologies. The integration engineer should have proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python, development experience in large projects and a track record of working with open-source software. It is also desirable to have experience in troubleshooting applications performance and integration problems to be able to help bring in new systems effectively.The integration engineer will be providing solutions to a number of different innovation working groups and rapid execution and delivery, working.

Development/Computing Environment: Experience with KVM, ESX or other virtualization management infrastructure, as well as private and public cloud infrastructure and management tooling. 5 to 10 years experience of system administration practices, primarily Red Hat Linux, including performance tuning and troubleshooting across networks, filesystems and databases. Experience in troubleshooting, porting and creating integrations for open source and vendor products. Writing maintainable scripts with Perl and/or Python. More than just small scripts: comfortable with coding in a scripting language. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision despite rapidly changing priorities.
