Detailed Info: Senior role in the data lab program to support the data science and big data engineering work streams. Summarize, analyze and investigate data based on requirements. Prototype data analysis using big data repository, tools, excels and packages such as R/SPARK/other tools. Design and Develop big data store using large datasets. Develop data model based on CS standards provided.

Development/Computing Environment: 8-10 years of industry experience preferably in Financial Services industry. Functional Knowhow with strong background in Credit and Market Risk. Good understanding of Risk and Capital calculations including areas such as Notional, Exposure/PE/EPE/EAD, Counterparty Risk, RWA, Sensitivities. Analysis mindset with large dataset analysis techniques. Good "Data Analysis" thinking and should be able to take large datasets and should be able to analyze using several data analysis tools, frameworks, data algorithms etc. Good hands on understanding of Big Data Stack, tools, hands on big data introspection and correlation analysis. Strong hands on HBASE, HDFS and Cloudera stack. Experience in transfer of large datasets. Data modeling and definition. Strong understanding of big data stores. Strong hands on development skills on SPARK/Machine Learning/NLP. Being able to pre-process data for consumption for specific analysis. Good grasp of statistical models available for analysis. Thought leader, proactive, challenging what's possible with data. Able to look beyond Risk into other domains such as Finance for cross functional analysis. Able to influence organization and senior management decision making based on analysis outcomes. Strong communication and time management skills. Strong presentation skills..
