Detailed Info: Develops and maintains content ingestion, validation and transformation workflows that populate the department's MarkLogic XML repository. Develops and deploys XQuery modules and Rest APIs to support complex searches and queries against the MarkLogic content repository. Develops and deploys data reports aggregating all available data sources through custom web applications. Researches and develops POCs that demonstrate cutting-edge solutions employing established data science and search methods, such as Machine Learning, Semantic Enrichment, NLP, RDFs and Semantic Search, Recommender Algorithms, etc, and optimize these for integration with production systems. Contributes to the definition and implementation the enterprise's Master Data Management architecture


Development/Computing Environment: At least 3 years of MarkLogic development & architecture experience (using version 8 or 9). Ability to architect and implement MarkLogic from scratch (Data modeling as well). Ability to code XQuery in MarkLogic. Advanced skills in XML technologies such as XSLT, XPath and XQuery required. Experience with Semantic and coding queries using SPARQL. Intermediate level programming skills in front end development like AngularJS or similar technology. Financial background experience. Analytical background: artificial intelligence and machine learning. Working knowledge on Data Governance, best practices and design principles. Ontology and Meta data management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar discipline or equivalent experience; Advanced degree helpful. Min 10+ years cumulative experience. Certifications in Big Data and Search technologies preferred..
