Detailed Info: The role of Structured Products Analytics Developer offers an excellent opportunity for a bright individual with hands-on development and implementation experience to use their technical, analytical and communication skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Work with the Structured Products desks on the implementation of front-office trading systems and automated processes to increase the profitability and efficiency of the business. As an integral part of the technology team, the candidate will develop mission-critical trading applications and systems. The position requires an experienced developer with a passion and strong work ethic for architecting front-to-back solutions. Responsibilities will include all aspects of system design, development, testing, support and implementation of front-office trading applications for an expanding Capital Markets trading business unit. Programming assignments will utilize Java in a complex event-driven infrastructure environment with a combination of spreadsheets, in-house web pages and Java-based services, and interfaces to market-standard analytic service providers.

Development/Computing Environment: Must have Front Office Trading Experience. 5 years of experience developing mortgage analytic applications, including experience using Java. Specific product and process knowledge in Structured Products (MBS, CMOs, ABS, CMBS, & whole loans) including prepayment and interest rate modelling. Experience with system interfaces and APIs with particular focus on Bloomberg, YieldBook and Intex. Strong problem solving skills with an interest in understanding Capital Markets use cases. Strong interpersonal skills dealing with users. Ability to multi-task between multiple activities while working in a highly effective team environment. B.S. degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or equivalent. Desired Skills: Development of real-time multi-tier trading and risk management systems in Structured Products. Experience developing on a Linux platform leveraging modern SDLC tools and techniques. Knowledge and experience with relational (Sybase or SQL Server) and time series (kdb+) databases. Experience interacting with TIBCO RV or JMS messaging systems. .
