Detailed Info: We looking to grow an Electronic Trading Infrastructure Engineering Team with a Senior Systems Architect / Engineer. S/He will partner w/ a trading application team to find solutions to allow the group to grow revenue, manage risk and reduce cost by leveraging existing technologies, onboarding new technologies and building it from scratch in the trading lab when necessary.


The work this person contributes will be done to help continually improve and evolve an existing electronic and algorithmic trading platform's core infrastructure which is vital for the Global Bank's success.


In addition to possessing the exceptionally strong technical skills listed below, the ideal candidate must be able to work globally, write clear and concise technical documentations and able to verbally communicate ideas and engage in technical discussions and debates with technical management while still maintaining professionalism.

Development/Computing Environment: 5+ year of programming experience (Python, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby) including extracting and updating data in enterprise data sources and interacting with the networks

CI / Source Control / Release Management and Change Control

Performance tuning systems including skills in problem analysis, debugging, bottleneck detection, etc

Deep Experience in Linux Systems. Must be able to code from the command line

Application and Infrastructure Configuration management

Netowrk Design and security features such as policy automation, encryption, overlays, VRF, ACL, ISE, 802.1x, MAB, RADIUS etc.

Network principles (routing & switching).

Basic Web UI Development Experience (Angular, React etc)

Intermediate SQL Skills

Financial services in the Capital Markets business area

AWS/GCP, Terraform etc automated provisioning tool chains

Trading System Application Configuration / Deployment / Management

MIT Kerberos application within REDHAT LINUX as well as IPtables

Unicast and Multicast network protocols and routing metro and regional FC networks.

Time synchronization methods capable of achieving international financial standards

Cisco IOS/NXOS

Arista EOS

FPGA

NICs - Solarflare, Mellanox, ExaBlaze ExaNIC adapters

Firewalls - Fortinet firewall management

Corvil network analytics package

Altera based FPGA using OpenCL or native programming

Network capture appliances (Corvil, Endace, nPulse), optical taps, Wireshark.
