Detailed Info: The principle objective of this position is to provide level 1 and 2 support for Workspace2020 (windows 10) related activities (including : Searching for eligible users to migrate from windows 7 to Windows 10, Assisting the users in the transition, work with the engineering and support services for multiple technologies for Microsoft products and other vendors' products residing on users' desktops. The Workspace 2020 migration engineer will provide quality support and coverage for day-to-day activities.
3 to 5 years Engineering and Production expertise with Microsoft windows products (windows 7 and windows 10 desktop).
Good knowledge of SCCM CB.
Expert knowledge of Active Directory
Minimal knowledge of Windows OS Enterprise components and technologies such as Domains, DNS, Registries, DHCP/WINS.
Good knowledge of Citrix/XenApp
Good knowledge of the Windows workstations build, deployment, (packaging )
Patch management design and planning for workstations and laptops
Application deployment / update
Good working knowledge of networking functions (i.e. function of TCP/IP, SNMP) subnetting and routing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required to achieve goals and objectives as approved with the RDH
Providing services as per agreed KPIs within the region
Excellent project management skills focused on outcome based results
Service oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player.
Development/Computing Environment: Position Responsibilities:
Contribute to the migration process for the implementation of Windows 10 (user platform) in a large environment.
Provide 1 and 2 level support for the production environments
Liaise with application support teams to gather requirements, design, and deploy standard systems
Strictly abide and follow the company policy and procedures pertaining to change and incident management
Contribute to ensuring that all systems are deployed consistent with group standards and best practices
Incident and Problem management: take ownership and work with team to resolve production related issues for level 1 and 2 within is remit.
Follow groups standard security practices within the environment
Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework.
Knowledge of standard methodologies of Service Delivery (ITIL, COBIT)
Project Management Knowledge
Experience in evaluation and design of SCCM technical architectures
General Banking Knowledge
Technical knowledge of the applications used within BNP Paribas
Knowledge of the Norms and Standards of the BNP Paribas Group
Respect the norms to reduce Operational Risk
May be required on-call for escalations 24*7
