Detailed Info: You will provide operational support for the configuration management products and systems that are employed with the team. This will include continuous management of infrastructure lifecycle including upgrades, planned downtime and performance tuning of these systems. You will maintain infrastructure lifecycle of all configuration management and software delivery tools: Axon, Appsense, SCCM, Bigfix, iBuild, WCM, Intel AMT, SDM, MyApps. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Supporting the software distribution and management processes, including packaging of applications and troubleshooting of software installation issues - Creating, integrating and deploying new policies across users and desktops - Developing /maintaining software packaging standards - Testing new and changed components being introduced into the environment - Scripting knowledge, preferably Powershell for automation of some routine tasks.- Participating in the engineering and deployment of global products - Automation through scripting as necessary to efficiently address problems within our space
Development/Computing Environment: Performing change management duties, including creation, execution and validation of production changes- Deploying and managing security patches using industry standard technologies like WSUS/SCCM - Provide L3 support for Myworkspace/Operating System Deployment issues and other software delivery/patching issues. - Cooperating with the reporting team to maintain data feed for various reporting needs .Preferred skillset: - Experience supporting Windows PCs preferably at level 3 in a demanding, large networked global enterprise environment with at least 500 PCs - Experience in at least one of: SCCM / Desktop Build Systems/OS installation tools/Appsense/Bigfix or similar configuration tools. - Desktop Patches and build OSD management using SCCM.- Proficiency in creating documentation for end users and support personnel - Experience in troubleshooting Splunk or similar performance tools - PowerShell experience is preferred- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) - ITIL-based service management.
