This position is for a Vice President directly supporting the Head of Technology Portfolio Management within the COO team of Wealth Management Technology in New York. The candidate will lead the evolution and development of demand management and governance standards, processes, and tooling for the entire divisional portfolio, interfacing heavily with business and delivery stakeholders on feedback and delivery.
Managing senior stakeholders in multiple product areas across Wealth Management and Technology.
Develop and articulate governance process for transitioning from funding to execution,
Negotiate with senior stakeholders on process and priorities,
Implement and manage the portfolio governance process for ensuring accurate creation, staffing and forecasting of approved programs in the Discretionary portfolio,
Evolve and manage reporting for and communication against execution progress (e.g., BRD and Tech Design completion dates) for Funding stages and any portfolio financials variances,
Ensure alignment of governance process across Discretionary and Mandatory CTB portfolios
Create and manage methodology for propagating changes in portfolio delivery and financials to downstream processes including Reporting and Business Management
The position requires proven technology portfolio process expertise and an ability to navigate within ambiguity to achieve results.

Development/Computing Environment: Skills required:
Strong problem-solver to lead a small team in building central budget and change management governance process for Wealth Management Technology
Comfort with ambiguity, technology governance, budget planning or similar, with very advanced Excel and/or Powerpoint skills
Preference given to candidates with previous management consulting experience, change transformation initiatives, and/or Agile methodologies
Critical thinker and self-starter who will take complete ownership and accountability
Ability to adjust to multiple demands and constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints
Ability to own and run efforts by identifying and driving the critical path actions
Data analysis skills, in order to use data and facts to prepare and develop materials for senior management
Ability to collaborate across all levels across the organization
The ability to identify in advance key issues or potential roadblocks and to flag these to senior leadership
Effective, versatile, and action oriented
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, with superior Excel skills
Strong project and time management capabilities
Proactive and responsive team player
Financial Services experience a must.
