Location: Midtown-East, NYC, NY

Skills required for the position: Technical Support, Network Routers/Switches, Internet Protocols, Hardware, Software, Windows-OS, MS Excel, VBA, FIX Protocol

Description of Work:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will Support the firm's software, hardware, and network offerings coordinate with internal/external vendors, clients and executives. Install, manage, and maintain the global private IP network - connectivity and infrastructure. Integrate and support offerings in clients' environments. Be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging application issues. Hardware installation on VMWARE, CITRIX, and etc).

Job Requirements (must have):

  • A Bachelor's degree.

  • Knowledge of router commands, network protocols (i.e. SFTP, TCP, UDP, BGP, and RIP)

  • Working with multiple tech and business teams.

  • Detail, Task and Goal oriented.

  • Experience supporting technology across a multitude of platforms.

  • PC hardware, operating systems and software suites including Windows & Mac OS.

  • Excellent communication and Customer Service skills

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Telecommunication lines, network design, and network certification.

  • Advanced Excel/VBA knowledge.

FIX 4.0, FIX 4.2, and Fix 4.4.
