Detailed Info: To do hands on DevOps for a large risk group, Team lead for the group, mentor and do DevOps right with the team globally. This role is Second in Command to the MD of the group who is a deeply technical manager. Responsible for creating and implementing the roadmap for automation of testing, integration and deployment. Leading the team to build and implement the toos necessary to support this roadmap. Training and coaching software development teams through migration path to target levels of automation. Identify and resolve automation blockers (for example environmental availability)
Development/Computing Environment: Have a strong background in Software Engineering. Degree in Comp Sci or software engineering. Software Development Life Cycle / Development while testing. Strong Test Driven Development Experience. Experience of integration testing within the layers of an application (example: Testing the integration between Controller; Services & DAO Laywers in an MFC architecture. Can work with Product and Technical Leaders to develop Quality assurance Plans. Understand the right mix of testing needed. I.e. Unit / Integration/ functional / AP / Systems/ Regression and performance testing.
Have an expert understanding of CI/CD principles. Git Flow strategies and Agile Methodoligies.
