Detailed Info: The Business Analyst/Project Manager will assume responsibility for the oversight, coordination and delivery of a project and to work with various stakeholders worldwide to gather information relevant for the a strategic Adjustments Application aligned currently to an enterprise application decommission program.

The candidate should have experience as a business analyst in delivering process and system change projects within in an investment bank trading environment.


A successful candidate should have strong understanding of multiple asset classes traded in the investment banking industry and must have contributed significantly to multiple successful enterprise projects and milestones. Will be expected to participate in negotiations with high-level stakeholders and help the team with process improvements.





Development/Computing Environment: Advanced communication skills- Candidate needs to be comfortable in interfacing to a cross-section of groups at various levels, including Middle Office (from MDs, Directors to Associates), Trading, COO, and Technology team.

Monitor progress of project status, milestones, achievements and budgetary standing for the project; ensure resolution and/or effective escalation of issues within Steering Committees.

Ensure strong scope control on all projects.

Set agendas, run and document (meeting minutes) working groups and/or workshops for all working streams.

Work collaboratively with Operations, the Front office and the other functions (Finance, Risk).

Assist and support in the development and documentation of the current and future state Adjustments Application.

Deliverables may include authoring business requirements and providing workflow diagrams.

Perform User Acceptance Testing.

Provide a comprehensive test plan to IT that has been validated and signed off by Compliance.

Advanced Data analysis skills- Comfortable with the analysis of large amounts of data, using assorted Microsoft tools available. VBA beneficial, SQL preferred.

Project Management skills- Candidate needs to feel comfortable working in a project environment with project tools and processes.

Needs to have a good understanding of system, reporting and process implementation.

Management capability of multiple and varied streams, from coordinating UAT Testers and sign off to defect management with Tech.

Product knowledge: must have an understanding of FICC and/or Equity Products, incl. credit, mortgages, rates and fx products.

7+ Years Industry Experience.
