Detailed Info: to provide Level 2 support. Must be able to read and debug code. You will be sitting with the technology team. This role is for an energetic person with outstanding communications skills. You will sit with the developers, but you'll go upstairs and interact with the Traders. Explain what's going on with the errors in the system, understand what they are seeing and come back and talk to the developers who will know how to make adjustments. Some of the errors are simple syntax errors, you need to know how to READ (not a coding role) ONE of the following - Java or Python or slang / sec DB and read the code and make small adjustments in the syntax - find the error and fix it. Errors are obvious.
This is an FX client and product support role. - you are doing support via Email / IM or phone or in person. Build relationships with the traders in person. This role is convertible to permanent.
Development/Computing Environment: Must have level 2 support experience. Must be able to read and debug code. Not looking for someone to develop new code. Must have strong communication skills. You will be speaking with the business via phone / Email or internal messaging.And in person. Build relationships with the traders. You will work a 10:30 am to 7:30 pm schedule.
Have ONE of the follow languages, not to code but to be able to read and Debug - Java / Python / Slang Sec Db. Learn new things.
