Location: Lower East Side, Manhattan

Skills required for the position: System Architect, FULL STACK, .NET, C#.


Detailed Info: OTSS department is looking for a Full Stack Software Architect Contractor that can work for 6 months @ 35 hours a week.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications for critical systems

  • Deliver highly-available and performant solutions

  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, establishing best practices and provide guidance to the development team including code review

  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies and building proof of concept

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code

  • Provide well-thought-out solutions on complex application development issues.


Required Skills: Experienced in .NET, C#, React, Redux, Javascript, TypeScript, Microsoft SQL, Domain Driven Design, Microservices, REST API Development, CI/CD


Development / Computing Environment:

Required Experience: 7 years' related experience with a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and education. Must include experience with designing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting .NET, Microsoft SQL, and working in a microservices environment. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture methodologies and best practices. Experience with Agile development practices. Experience with user experience best practices for system design.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team/project-oriented environment. Willingness to learn new technical skills and accommodate evolving technologies. Hands-on experience with enterprise level system architecture design and development. Ability to execute multiple work tasks and prioritize work and interacting effectively with a diverse population is required..
