Detailed Info:

Looking for a highly qualified Account Manager to define and lead client engagements from inception to successful business outcomes for clients in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. Core responsibilities include account management of large-scale engagements and new business development through networking within client organizations.


  • Navigating client organizations, working on building and expanding the network within the organizations

  • Translate clients' business goals and industry trends into new business opportunities

  • Create, manage, and lead a portfolio of projects focused on achieving significant business outcomes by developing new or re-engineering existing IT systems, products, and services

  • Creating and maintaining an account management plan

  • Track engagements and project performance against account metrics

  • Manage completion of contracts

  • Identifying new leads and opportunities within accounts

  • Supporting pre-sales activities related to identified opportunities

  • Taking part in closing opportunities

  • Plan resources and create action plans, both during sales and throughout client engagements

Development/Computing Environment:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Recent experience in Sales/Engagement Management and Account Management

  • Experience working in service companies

  • Proven track record in consultative sales

  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • Ability to communicate strongly and clearly with executive level stakeholders in client organizations as well as with the globally distributed delivery team

  • Entrepreneurial, outgoing, detail oriented, analytical thinker

Additional Competencies

  • Industry-specific background that spans across the industry covering multiple large segments (e.g. Healthcare Insurance, Healthcare IT, Clinical Trials, Drug Research, etc.)
