Detailed Info: The Trade Floor Support role will support all areas of the business and be responsible for maintaining stability and improving productivity. Resolve all desktop related issue. Provide detailed root cause analysis for issues that occur. Apply security updates to the Windows and Mac Operating System. Deploy updated Windows and Mac applications. Continuously improve our desktop security. Provide white glove service for senior management. Assist employees with conference calls and remotely connecting to their desktop for meetings. IP Phone support. Participate in on-call rotation for support issues raised outside of business hours and on the weekends.
Development/Computing Environment: 4-year degree in an engineering field. 4+ years of professional experience working in desktop support in a financial services environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Microsoft Excel expertise including formulas, functions and macros. Microsoft Windows 10 support including Microsoft Office. Mac desktop support. Basic knowledge of VMware is a plus. Network troubleshooting skills are a plus.
