WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

  • The CEO will lead all aspects of Relay including commercial and product.

  • We are looking for someone to help lead Relay's strategic direction alongside new hires and internal talent who have already transitioned into Relay.

  • Day-to-day tasks will include leading a growing team, selling and presenting Relay to various prospective clients, shaping the short- and long-term road map of the product, and working with clients to implement Relay in their business operations.

  • We expect the business model to focus on consultative selling of a solution and for the CEO to take an active role in that function during the early days of the company.


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • At least 10 years of total relevant work experience is required with an emphasis on advising businesses about new products and solutions and how to improve business operations.

  • Experience should also include time spent A) in management consulting as a partner with a focus on digitization projects and/or solution-enabled consulting projects, or B) in a role with significant P&L responsibility at an enterprise SaaS company with a strong consultative component (service-enabled SaaS).

  • Candidates should have business and product development acumen and the ability to translate business needs into usable B2B software (including experience guiding a technical team).

  • Coding skills are not necessary.

  • Leadership experience-including hiring, training, and managing a team-is a must.

  • Experience working at a start-up as part of the founding team or as an early employee in a fast-growing technology company is a meaningful plus.
